Canton Restaurant Annapolis MD – When in Annapolis, MD (home of the U.S. Naval Academy & the original capital of the U.S.), visit The Canton Restaurant. This restaurant opened in 1962 by a staff sergeant who served in World War II. The current owners have managed the restaurant since 1994. The food is fresh and varied (about 30 selections from peanut chicken to traditional favorites) & the prices are quite reasonable.

The portions are large so we usually split a dinner and pay about $40 total, including tip, for two people. It is a little hole in the wall, with a real neighborly feel, located about 1 mile from downtown Annapolis on 11 Ridgely Avenue. Check out their bargain lunch buffet. Phone: 410-280-8658 or visit: www.thecantononline.com
