Dave's Travel Corner reaches its 10,000th visit

(6/13/00) Dave's Travel Corner (DTC) began as an idea formed in Dave's mind after a powerful trip to Nepal in December of 1996. He wanted to share his travel experiences and knowledge with people in order to help others make online travel decisions.

After many articles, research, time, and three and a half years, Dave's Travel Corner has reached its 10,000 user. Thanks in part to recent listings on Yahoo and several other search engines, Dave's Travel has seen an upsurge in usage. 

Later in the year Dave plans on printing "Dave's Travel Corner" bumper stickers and making them available for free on his website.

Due to the amount of email that Dave receives he is not always able to provide personal replies. He will try to post selected emails on the message board until he is able to implement the message board CGI with Windows 2k.

Dave's Travel Corner is a travel content, resource provider and community (founded 1996) providing travel Articles written about Dave's personal travel experiences and Journals, pages that contain trip summaries and experiences written by fellow travelers. We spotlight locations and attractions with an

article linked directly from our homepage including content across our blog, photo and video galleries. We use a combination of social media, written content, photography and videos to promote locations. Not only does the content appear on the main page of this site but we have direct partnerships with other heavily trafficked travel sites for placement of the content as well including Raveable, Geckogo and UpTake and we contribute content to 52PerfectDays and our video site, MyVideoVisa. Since 1996, we have also established 100's of relevant link exchanges with other travel sites.
