We were a busload of older women off on a jaunt on a hot day in July. Departing from a Montreal seniors’ center, we rode off to Mirabel, located in the Lower Laurentian Hills. On the first anniversary of my mother’s passing, a letter was forwarded to me from the Holocaust Center. My mother had been prominent in Holocaust Education. A woman in Wisconsin was writing a book and looking for my mother to provide her with background information.   The Center didn’t know what to do with the letter, so they forwarded it to me.
