I have found that most European countries around Christmas are especially beautiful. It always seems that these great European cities all put on a show for its residents, and treat the holiday season as what it is, a very special time of year. One of my favorite Christmas’ was some years ago on a tour of Italy. we were in Venice for Christmas. To see traditional venetian gondolas decorated in Christmas garb was special!
