    Namaste and greetings from Nepal!

This is Rishi used to work with Big Guest House group being associated with a travel agency there would like to inform you that the situation in Nepal is getting cool. The political change has no effect on tourism in Nepal. There seems to be a ‘Peace Talk’ between the new Government (King) and the rebellions. However, the news is made more serious all over the world. Travelers and Trekkers are welcome for every group in Nepal.

Travel and Trekking in Nepal is safer as usual. There are thousands of people trekking still in different Himalayan regions in Nepal. The data produced by Nepal Tourism Board shows the increment in total number of tourists here. There are about 100 groups permitted to scale Mt. Everest for this upcoming season-May, 2005. Similarly, other mountains are also permitted in the remarkable number. The numbers are satisfactory to the tourism industry in Nepal.
Please, kindly note that we haven’t seen and heard any attacks over foreign tourists and the rebellions have clearly announced not to harm them in any means. Please, be confident to travel in Nepal.

There are more air links to Kathmandu now a days. A good connection is accessible from Bangkok, Hong Kong, Dubai, London, Paris, Amsterdam, Vienna, Delhi, Kolkata, Varanasi, Dhaka, Islamabad, Kuala Lumpur and Osaka.

In the mean time, I would like to let you know that I have launched a travel agency with a motive of Eco-tourism concept in Nepal. If you need any advice, please write me here.

I expect and thank you for your endeavor support in spreading the ‘Peace message’ to your nearest friends and relatives.

Looking forward to seeing you some day in Nepal.

    Regards,
    Rishi Pd Nepal

    Dhaulagiri Trek

This region is known as an adventurous trekking in Nepal. Trekking off the main paths is not only possible. If you are an adventure lover, the trek to this area could be immensely rewarding. Geographically, the Dhaulagiri region is a steep slope with snow-caped Himalayan peaks. Mt. Dhaulagiri I, is the sixth highest peak of Nepal and world’s seventh. The peak is high above the popular religious and trekking site of Muktinath. The vast area screens the hidden river up stream, ferns and forest of Oak and other deciduous trees and juniper forest. The rhododendron forest and many species of flowers are abundantly found on the trail. Tiny alpine flowers are found dotting the windswept ground even in the high mountain passes above the tree line.

    Highlights of the Trekking

Exploring Nepalese lifestyles, trekking through glaciers, challenging high Himalayan passes, panoramic views of great Himalayan peaks.
