Siargao, El Nido, Boracay, and Samal Island are definitely some of the country’s best. But as someone who lives in Cebu, I’d really recommend adding Cebu to any Philippines trip!

What I love about Cebu is how much variety you get in just one island. We’ve got gorgeous white sand beaches, incredible snorkeling and diving, plus waterfalls and mountain views if you head inland.

For anyone staying on the mainland, White Beach in Moalboal is one of my personal favorites. It’s relaxed, beautiful, and the marine life nearby is amazing. And if you’re up for a short boat ride, you can explore even more stunning spots like Bantayan Island, Sumilon Island, Malapascua, and Camotes.

Cebu is so special for me. You can go from beach to mountains to urban jungle all in a few days. Even as a local, I never get tired of it, and I think visitors would love having all those options in one place.
