Our stamina declines, our knees get weaker, and we start to suffer ailments that we knew nothing about in our younger years. But our quest for adventure doesn’t go away. So many of us older travelers get frustrated that we can’t do everything that we would like to do. Trekking to Everest base camp or expeditions to Patagonia start to become beyond our physical capabilities. So we are forced to look […]

This large country has only one major city, Gabarone, and Botswana is not greatly publicized when it comes to tourism. I’m not even sure how I found out what a great destination Botswana is. But at some point in my travel research, I decided I had to go on safari in Botswana, most famous for the Okavango Delta and Kalahari Desert. Genuine hospitality, beautiful scenery, not to mention an exciting time on safari all welcomed me to this amazing country. Botswana […]

Traveling and travel writing has been more than just a profession for me. Exploring new places, immersing in a foreign culture, meeting new people, and taking up extreme adventure tours; all this completes me. I like to do this the local way, as I feel that traveling like a local provides an unmatched insight about the destination. The intimate collection of photography contained within is dominated by the diversity of wildlife that lives here. The Sealous is one of the largest ‘still wild’ areas left on the planet. It is a reserve where no people live and no permanent structures are permitted within it’s borders. The photographs displayed within the book represent fours years of work and represent over 100,000 photographs taken. This book should be in the collection of anyone who is interested […]
