My name is Barb Harmon and I am a freelance travel writer and blogger with a yen for food and wine.
I have traveled professionally and personally for years. In 1974 I had the opportunity to visit The USSR as a single woman. Very interesting for a young woman during that period in history. Travel for Americans In the USSR was very new then.

I'm married and we are empty nesters. I have lived in the Netherlands and Switzerland. I currently live in the US but we are planning on moving back to Europe part time with Mexico as a home base. Two moves...the best of both worlds. We travel as often as possible searching for that next adventure. I'm a member of ITWPA and ITWA.
