Honeymoon Safari

Hey all, my fiancee and I have been playing with the idea of an “adventure honeymoon.” We were thinking an African safari (the picture-taking kind) would be fun, but I thought I’d come here first and see what the general consensus is, before I move forward in my research. Good idea, bad idea? Expensive idea? Has anyone else done this?

We’re not getting married until over a year from now, so we’re not in any rush. All feedback is welcome.
