I’ve spent my life finding things, objects or my way, in circumstances where it should have been impossible – like predicting that I’d find a white, pint mug on an island miles from civilization and then finding it the next day, buried up to its neck in peat.

I assume it’s a kind of dowsing. Would anybody (who has had this sort of event happen to them) write to me about it? I’d like to compile a record and see if there is any common thread running through. I’ll make the results available to all subscribers (if that’s the word!)
