Estee-KenyaTravellers Cheques:-They take forever to clear with the Bureau De Change in Kenya. However, the banks and American Express Bank accepts easily.
Credit Card:-Easily accepted but with a 5% surcharge. It is better that you go to a cash dispenser and collect equivalent in shillings to avoid the commission charged for the same by most Tour Companies.
Travel:-You mostly join a group unless you have specified you wish to do an exclusive or private safari. Minivans, 4WD vehicles and trucks are used on the tour safaris.
Tips/Gratuities: It is expected especially at the end of the trip to the crew onboard. Groups can discuss what is best but you need to remember that most of them rely on this for their survival.Asante sana
