Weather in Oaxaca in January

Does anyone know what the weather is like in Oaxaca (in general) in January? Worth going on vacation to visit the city and the beaches, or is it too cool? Any suggestions are appreciated!

I’ve been to Oaxaca in January – the weather was mild in the low 70’s. I also visited Guadalajara around this time, and all leaves on the bannana trees were killed because of Guadalajara’s first snow in about 80 or 90 years! This of course, is the exception. I would expect fairly mild weather at Oaxaca and even along the beaches. This is a good time to visit 🙂
