What vaccines do you need before traveling to Israel?

And it’s okay to let them know you’re American except if you go to Gaza or the West Bank, right?

I would have the basics – tetanus, hepatitis A and B. I’m not aware of any special vaccines needed for travel to Israel (say compared to some of the tropical destinations). Also may not want stress that you are American if you go to Syria.
