Dr. Porntip Rojanasunan, easily recognized by her unique wild looking hair, is a famous Thai women in her 60’s. She is well-known within the country because of her uncanny ability to determine the causes of crimes forensically. She is a forensic anthropologist who has helped police solve many crimes.
She has also written a book about her job – so far only published in Thai (over 100,000 copies have sold to date). She has also become an avid cook – several articles have been written about her latest hobby in the Bangkok Post.
Porntip was at her finest helping out in the aftermath of the terrible Tsunami that hit southern Thailand in late December 2004. She also traveled to New Orleans, America to help out in the aftermath of the devastating Katrina hurricane.
