Paros, Greece – Lodging

The following are some hotels in Parikia, the largest city on Paros. Keep in mind you will see lots of hotel owners trying to lure you to their particular hotel as soon as you step off of the ferry.

If you try to get lodging through them, make sure you bargain. I prefer to stay in or near Parikia over Naoussa because it is a larger city, there is more going on in town, and you are more centrally located for reaching other parts of the island.

The Rooms Association is a good place to start if you want lodging and you don’t want to deal with the crowds near the ferry. You can reach them at phone 24 528.

Budget accommodations can be found at Rooms Mikes. Many backpackers stay here. Mike also provides studios for a little higher price. The rooms are around 20 Euro while the studios are about 30 Euros. If Mike’s accommodations are full he will try to recommend other places in a similar price range.

Mariza Rooms, phone 22 629 and Nikos Kypreos Apartments phone 24 609 both have pleasant accommodations. The Nikos Kypreos Apartments are located near the main church. Visit: www.parosmarisarooms.gr

If you want to pay a bit more, from 45 to 60 US Euros per night the Hotel Argonauta is an excellent choice. This hotel is found across from the National Bank of Greece. Website: www.argonauta.gr

If you want to stay on the water front try Hotel Irene, Phone 21 476. The price is about 38 Euros. Website: www.360.gr/hotelirene

If you are looking for something away from the hubub of Parikia try the Dennis Apartments . Phone 22 466. The prices are quite reasonable for what you get. www.parosweb.com/denisapartments

The following lodges can be found in Naoussa.

Pension Stella is in the heart of the downtown area and can be reached at phone 51 317. They offer doubles at about 50 Euros.

Voula Beach Hotel is near the post office. This is a popular hang out for back packers. The owner often meets the ferry in Parikia. Prices are around 40 Euros per room per night. Phone 51 478.

Hotel Madaky is near the central square in the heart of town which is only a several minute walk to the beach. Their prices range from 25 to 80 Euros per day. Phone 51 475.
