There are many golf courses within a 30 minute drive of Spokane. And Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho also features several world-class courses. Here are several in the Spokane region:

- Clint Wallman Golf School at Birdies Golf Center is located at 1111 East Westview Court. This school specializes in individual or group golf instruction. They also host golf clinics. Call (509) 468-5000.
- Creek at Qualchan Golf Course is located at 301 East Meadow Lane. This is a municipal 18 hole course. 6,425 yards. In July they hosted a 1997 Senior PGA Pro-Classic. Call (509) 448-9317.
- Downriver Golf Course is located at 3225 North Columbia Circle. This 18 hole course is 6,130 yards long. It is surrounded on three sides by the Spokane River. Call (509) 327-5269.
- Esmeralda Golf Course is located at 3933 East Courtland. Features 18 holes over 6,071 yards. Call (509) 487-6291
- Fore Seasons Sports Dome is located at 7115 East Cataldo. This is Spokane’s only indoor driving range. Thirty four golf tees are split between two levels. Golfers can hit up to 70 yards and up to 65 feet high in this 36,000 square foot building. Call (509) 924-0629.
- Hangman Valley Golf Course is located at 2111 East Hangman Valley Road. This is a 18 hole county course. 6,119 yards. Call (509) 448-1212.
- Indian Canyon Golf Course is located at 4304 West Drive. This is an 18 hole course. 6,296 yards. This course is frequently chosen as being one of the top 25 public courses in the United States by Golf Digest. Call (509) 747-5353.
- Liberty Lake Golf Course is located at the Liberty Lake exit off of the 90 Freeway. This is also an 18 hole course. 6,398 yards. Call (509) 255-6233.
- MeadowWood Golf Course is located at the Liberty Lake exit off of the 90 Freeway. This course is 18 holes. 6,811 yards. Call (509) 255-9539.
