This was going to be museum-less trip, but we made exception for Nikola Tesla museum in Belgrade &#8211; we visited the museum and were duly impressed with the exhibits in action and hearing about his life on the guided tour Budapest &#8211; Buda Thai restaurant, one of best Thai restaurants we&#8217;ve eaten at outside of Thailand All the thermal baths, amazing! We are staying with a family in their home in the hills above the main part of town. The city is lit up, the breeze warm, and the musty earthy smell of the surrounding fig trees all around us. We are also enjoying a late harvest dessert wine from Oremus, one of Hungary&#8217;s finest wineries in the Tokaj region. Not to mention the sweet watermelon that [&#8230;]</p>

Barcelona is so beautiful in the summer. Everybody knows that; everybody&#8217;s written about it. Oh no, am I one of them too? It&#8217;s so beautiful here in Parc de Montjuic; I have the whole hill to myself. I walk inside the fortress, pretend there&#8217;s still something to protect. I watch the port activity from up high while I eat my juicy nectarines. The containers look like Lego bricks, the cranes are the only dinosaurs not yet extinct. Nobody is around [&#8230;]</p>
