Note the very slight splash of yellow and orange near the old walls. These are leather skins that have been dyed - now drying.

		Photographer: Dave Date Taken: 3/31/03 Location: Fes Description: These are the main tanneries in Fes. They are located at the edge of the Medina. These are incredible to visit. The traditions of hundreds of years of dying the animal skins with organic dyes continues today. You can taste and smell the acidity just by looking this photo.
