This organic farm is located within a very short drive of central San Jose del Cabo on easily passable dirt roads once leaving the center of San Jose del Cabo. Alternatively, allow about 30-35 minutes walking from the center of town (generally a pleasant walk during the wintertime with roaming cows and a diversity of birds hanging around the fresh water).
Founded in 2006, this farm + restaurant + cooking school is operated by Chef Enrique Silva. He is originally from Sonora, Mexico and trained in places as diverse as France, Los Angeles and Thailand.
The restaurant and a separate bar are located on a hill overlooking the garden – after drinks but before dinner, guests are often accompanied by a host down to the garden where they will walk among the vegetable rows while the hosts picks fresh vegetables for the meal and answers any questions guests may have about their approach to farming and the history of the property. A truly farm-fresh to table experience!
Heat lamps are available outdoors for colder winter nights. Romantic and intimate. A welcoming and a down to earth vibe. During our visit, most of the guests were from overseas – primarily the United States.
Parts of the garden are illuminated at night by rows of hanging lights. Guest are free to walk among the garden at their leisure.
