About Brian Cicioni

http://www.imayroam.com

Brian grew up in a small borough outside of a small city in eastern Pennsylvania. As soon as he got his driver's license, he started going to see his favorite rock bands (Metallica, Ozzy Osbourne, Pearl Jam, Slayer, Sleater-Kinney to name a few) and quickly realized that he wanted to spend as much time traveling as possible. After earning his bachelor's degree in Management/Marketing from Penn State University, he started traveling overseas and has since traveled to 37 countries spanning 5 different continents. Brian is an urban explorer who loves using public transportation. His 4 favorite American cities are New York, San Francisco, Washington, D.C. & Boston. He's a lover of food and culture who has been to every state except Alaska. Brazil and Russia are at the top of his bucket list. If you need advice on where to get the best pizza or French macarons, Brian is the guy to ask!

This area was new … [Read more...]

Walking from Pennsylvania to New Jersey & Back

November 19, 2015 by Brian CicioniLeave a Comment

I recently spent my first full day in Easton, PA. Although, I’d driven through Easton hundreds of times over the past 19 years, I never spent a full day exploring on foot. Known to many as the birthplace of former boxing heavyweight champion, Larry Holmes and home of the Crayola Factory, Easton lies on the Pennsylvania side of the Delaware River. The Lehigh River meets the Delaware River just south of the Northampton Street Bridge, which connects … [Read more...]

Walking from New Jersey to New York and Back

October 7, 2015 by Brian CicioniLeave a Comment

Over the past 2 years, I’ve walked over the BMW (Brooklyn, Manhattan, Williamsburg) bridges, which connect Brooklyn and Manhattan. This summer, I finally walked over the George Washington Bridge and highly recommend it to any urban explorer. As a car owner who lives in Pennsylvania, I drove as close as possible to the pedestrian entrance on the New Jersey side of the bridge. If you are a history buff (like myself), I recommend parking at Fort … [Read more...]
