About Emilie Thyebaut

http://www.france-justforyou.com

I was born in the Pyrenees but lived in a few different regions of France when I was young: the Pyrenees mountains (where my parents were breeding lambs), Paris (where my Dad managed a campsite for two years) and the Loire Valley (where my parents still run a Bed and Breakfast today). So from a young age I’ve moved around a lot and met people from all over the world as a result. While I was studying Business at college, I spent six months on a placement in Bologna, Italy, and did some conservation work in the Grand Canyon in the US. I loved the time I spent in the US and my first job out of college was in Miami, working for a container shipping company. I really enjoyed working with my American co-workers.

After I returned to France, my partner Guillaume and I decide to take a 7.5 month round-the-world trip before settling back in France.

All of our prior experience, and especially my time working with Americans in the US, gave us the idea of starting our website France Just For You. Our goal is to help American and Canadian travelers see and experience the 'real' France through our eyes. We organize tours which involve interacting with locals, exploring the country 'off the beaten track' and getting a genuine taste of what our wonderful country has to offer.

Our blog keeps our readers up to date with the latest travel and tourism news in France, including new attractions and exhibitions, tips on visiting different parts of France and some of our best French
