Joanne and Tony DiBona are San Diego-based photographers and writers, specializing in national and international travel. Their interests include outdoor adventure, cultural tourism, cruising, urban experiences, theatre and restaurant reviews, and active mature travel options.
Joanne is a member of the esteemed Society of American Travel Writers (SATW) and boasts a stellar career with the San Diego Convention & Visitors Bureau (San Diego Tourism Authority), where she served as Director of Communications. During her long tenure with the Bureau, she wore many hats, but the one she wore best was when she was active as creative writer and scenic photographer, using photos and the written word to capture San Diego’s beauty and desirability as a vacation destination.
Her husband and travel partner Tony DiBona, after a long tenure as a logistics specialist with the federal government and a notable career as a musician and band leader, complements this travel writing duo with his notable skills. He is responsible for daily social media posts and videos during a press trip.
