I’m a travel industry connector, social media consultant and travel/events blogger. For those interested in me covering something for them, here’s my media kit

I’m the organizer of the New York Travel Festival, a new consumer travel event. I am a co-founder of Destination Accelerator (education and networking for destination marketers) and Travel Talk on Twitter (the world’s biggest Twitter travel chat).

I’ve spoken about social media in a variety of places, including a roundtable at NYU, Africa Travel Association‘s World Congress in Victoria Falls Zimbabwe, and Miracle Corners of the World‘s youth leadership retreat in Vermont.

The Cyprus Tug o War

The first thing that drew me to Cyprus is that they are another of those countries that "doesn't exist". The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus is only recognized by Turkey itself. Wales: The Quiet Kid in the Corner

One of my pet travel projects is understanding "minority nations", the countries within countries. The UK has that in droves: Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and arguably, England itself. The thing is, I really could not find a distinction between Welsh culture and British culture at large.
