Everest base camp trekking:-
Everest base camp trekking is most popular trekking trail in Everest region, as it offers a unique and unforgettable experience with awesome views of the world’s highest and most beautiful mountains Mt. Everest. Everest Base Camp has been famed from when Sir Edmund Hilary and Tensing Norgay made the first successful summit in 1953. It is the most famous and challenging trek in Khumbu region. The trek is famous for its spectacular mountain peaks and friendliness of its inhabitants (Sherpa). Khumbu is one of the most popular destinations for tourists
The trekking to base camp begins by flight from Kathmandu to the mountain airstrip to Lukla, the heart of Everest Region, then after around three hours walk, we reach at Phakding and then we continue north up to Dudh Kosi valley and to Namche bazaar, where we spend one day for acclimatization. Then next day, we continue our trekking to Kala-Pattar and subsequently to the Everest base camp. We have one day rest in Dingboche or Pheriche in between and for some side-trips and for further acclimatization from the area, one can have some magnificent views of Everest along with Nuptse, Lohtse and Mount Pumori and return back to Lukla and catch the flight to Kathmandu.

Everest Base camp trekking is the most famous trekking route in the world and this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to see some of the most breathtaking scenery imaginable.Nepal is a fascinating country and the trek gives an insight into the lives and culture of the Sherpa people. Our ascent is steady and well paced to best suit the acclimatization needed. Sunrise on the snow capped peaks above the Khumbu Glacier is an unforgettable sight from the summit of Kala Patthar. This trek is one for the lover of high places and those wanting to push themselves to the limit. It is a tough challenge and not to be taken lightly with generally well graded paths but some tougher sections along the Khumbu glacier.

The Annapurna Circuit treks follows the early paths used for trade routes between Nepal and Tibet which trails encompasses extended ease of cultures and religions in this remote and previously remote zone. This typical trail rounds the complete Annapurna massif offers a spectacular assortment of people and landscapes, beginning from lowland to alpine meadows to the Tibet.
Here’s is a description of one of my favorite (and of course most popular) Nepal treks.
Everest base camp trekking is one of the typical treks which is an admired destination for trekkers in Nepal since the decade of 1950s. The Everest Base Camp trek starts from Lukla and follows the Dudh Kosi valley and climbs up to the gate-way of Everest Namche Bazar (3440m) a sherpa’s territory. The trail, passes along blooming forests of Rhododendron, magnolia, giant firs, across high mountain passes, remote valleys, villages and monasteries.
This trek is suitable to those who do not have much time to spend in Nepal but have a desire to see Mt. Everest from close quarters. The trip starts with the flight from Kathmandu to Lukla and trek to Tengboche. After visiting the Tengboche Monastery and viewing the soaring Mt. Everest from the base camp we get back to Kathmandu on the flight from Lukla. The spectacular scenery is unrivalled and the Sherpa communities make the trekkers feel welcome to their homes. Alpine flowers, stunning Buddhist monasteries and high mountain passes are the highlights of this trek.
The trail goes by a high traverse path to achieve the Thyangboche monastery stands at the elevation of 3867m. The monastery is structurally located on a ridge crest with superior views of the mighty Everest. The vista in the morning from the courtyard of Thyangboche is enormously mesmerizing and eye-catching. After the path goes ahead to the Imja Khola and enters into the villages of Pangboche and Pheriche before forthcoming to the Khumbu Glacier. The route goes behind the glacier, to Lobuche, a vantage point for impressive surveillance of the Ama Dablam, Taweche, Lhotse and other peaks. Trekkers too have an opportunity to soar Kala Pattar (5550m) where an awesome image of the Himalayan giants precisely makes your minds with wheezing speculate. Alternatively, the come back route can be arranged through the Chola Pass, Gokyo, Renjo Pass, and Thame trail offers the pleasure adventurous psyche with more magnificent mountain views, verdant forested valleys, and possibilities to experience Nepalese tradition and culture.
The Everest Base Camp trek has been the most popular attraction in the Khumbu region, north east of Kathmandu since the peak was conquered in 1953. Its scenery is amongst the most dramatic in the Nepal Himalaya and takes you closer to the ice covered giants than any other trekking trails.
This 16 days Everest base Camp trek is not an easy hiking and requires a fair level of fitness and stamina as the trail begins at 2780m with your 35 minute Mountain flight to Lukla and after the first day is mainly above 3000m. Mountain Mart Trek experiences adventure team has designed this trek to minimise the risk of AMS (mountain sickness) by including two rest days in Namche Bazar (4,360 m/14,300 ft) and Dingboche (4,360 m/14,300 ft)
Our Everest Base Camp trekking trail follows the friendly Sherpa villages and rises and falls as it crosses the countless streams that carry snow melt waters to the lowlands. Two nights are spent in the large town of Namche Bazaar with a rest-day acclimatisation walk to the large Sherpa Village of Khumjung to explore their lifestyle, beliefs, skills and warmth. Prayer flags, chortens, mani walls and monasteries testify to the importance of Tibetan Buddhism in their lives.
