Mount Soledad in La Jolla is 822 feet high above San Diego and offers 360 degree views of the coastline and the surrounding area. To the south you can see past San Diego and Coronado all the way to Mexico. Look east and view the mountains; south you see the Pacific Ocean; and north you gaze past the University of California at San Diego, and Torrey Pines. You will find grass areas, benches, walkways, and a Veterans Memorial Wall that honors veterans from all wars and conflicts.

Sunset Gondola Cruises (on Coronado Island) let you experience the romance and magic of Venice right here in San Diego. Cruise through the canals and waterways of the Coronado Cays in a gondola driven by a gondolier dressed in traditional Italian clothing. Mount Helix Park in La Mesa has breathtaking views of the city and the coast from its elevation of 1370 feet high.
