Seeing the World One Step at a Time
Hi there peeps, I travel to southern France quite alot as I have family there. I normally get my travel insurance through an old friend, but not able to anymore. Had a look round on the internet but baffled by all the diff companies. Is there any companies people recommend for travel insurance?? thanking you in advance ๐
Hiya!
Best sort of places to look for insurance at good rates are the post office, SAGA (depending on your age) and your bank. If you are already insured for other things through your bank then you can usually upgrade it to also include travel insurance as it is compulsory that you have it.
Travel agent’s can’t sell it unless you’ve booked through them as standard so best place would be banks, travel agents or holiday specified websites.
I hope this helps! ๐

You also might want to check with your credit card companies – sometimes they have an insurance add on which can be quite affordable. I know American Express has something like this which includes emergency evacuation coverage for when you are abroad.
