Palm Springs has an excellent variety of art galleries located mostly along N or S Palm Canyon Drive – near the center of town. All galleries below are in the city of Palm Springs unless otherwise indicated.

General

  • Adagio-Galleries Adagio Galleries exhibits a collection of Southwest American art and is well worth visiting. Many paintings as well as sculptures. Located at 73-300 El Paseo Drive in Palm Desert. Used to be located in Palm Springs. Established in 1980 – features 5,000 square feet of display space. Phone: (760) 320-2230

  • Art by Max features custom oil paintings – his work can be found in several galleries including the Art by Max Studio Gallery and the von Wening Art Gallery both in Palm Desert. For more information visit. www.artbymax.com/gallery.html
  • Artize Gallery is located at 2600 South Cherokee Way, Palm Springs. Visit: www.artizegallery.com
  • CODA Gallery (760) 346-4661 – location: corner of El Paseo and Lupine Lane in Palm Desert. Visit: www.codagallery.com
  • Heusso Gallery. This gallery is highly recommended to me by my readers. I am told the prices are quite reasonable for the quality of the pieces of art.
