Paseo Restaurant Seattle as of the time of this review, currently operates two small shoebox sized sandwich shops in the Seattle area. With a reputation such as theirs, its a wonder they haven’t opened additional locations! We visited their primary restaurant, located at 4225 Fremont Ave N (Fremont neighborhood), about 3.5 miles north of downtown Seattle just off of the 99 freeway.
Their specialty is Caribbean food and Cuban Sandwiches. Our favorites are the number 1 or number 2 sandwiches. In any case, caramelized onions, delicious spices, marinated meats and good breads make for a mouth watering sandwich experience. Seating is very tight due to their small facility. Parking is on Fremont Street or nearby streets. Most of the time the line snakes out the door and down the street, especially from about 12 to 2pm. They are closed on Mondays which is the only time we could take a photo of the building without people blocking the view! Phone: (206) 545-7440
