The world is home to many fabulous places. You can explore spectacular mountains, or you can bask on one of the stunning beaches. If you are planning to take a holiday in 2013, here are ten cities you should consider visiting.

Paris, The City of Lights, is one of the most impressive cities in the world. The city possesses exciting music, exquisite art and world-famous cuisine. You can visit the majestic Eiffel Tower, or you can visit the impressive Louvre, the most famous museum on the planet.

2. Bangkok, Thailand
More tourists now visit Bangkok than any other city in the world. This exotic destination possesses various cultures, a lively atmosphere and exciting attractions. You can see the impressive Grand Palace, the stunning WatArun temple or the beautiful Chao Phraya River. You can find lots of cheap Bangkok flights if you do some research online before booking your flight tickets.

3. New York, USA
New York, also called The Big Apple, is a unique and vibrant city. You can go to the top of the iconic Empire State Building, or you can enjoy a stroll through Central Park. While visiting the city, you must attend a spectacular Broadway Play, and you will want to enjoy the scrumptious New York cuisine.

This home of the Queen is popular for its history, art, culture and food. You can visit Buckingham Palace, Big Ben or The Tower of London. The city is also home to relaxing parks, stunning cathedrals and interesting museums. You will also want to take a boat ride down the River Thames. There are lots of low cost airlines that fly to London daily for ex – Easyjet and Ryanair.

Tokyo is the world’s most populated city and is home to tall buildings, lively nightlife and a fast-paced atmosphere. If you want spectacular views of the city, you should go to the top of the Tokyo Skytree, the tallest tower on the planet. You can visit the Japanese Gardens, the fish market or the Imperial Palace.

6. Istanbul, Turkey
This popular European destination offers interesting landmarks, fascinating museums and a unique history. You can visit Topkapi Palace, or you can visit a stunning Eastern Orthodox Church. You can also take a cruise along the Bosporus, or you can visit an enormous marketplace.

7. Hong Kong, China
Hong Kong is a shoppers dream. You can find chic boutiques, luxurious shopping malls and street markets. You can taste mouth-watering cuisine, or you can enjoy vibrant nightlife. You can visit Disneyland, take a boat ride or ride the tram to the Victoria Peak.

8. Madrid, Spain
This capital of Spain is famous for museums, palaces, shopping and bullfights. You can visit Reina Sofia, a famous art gallery, or you can visit Plaza Major, the main square. You can also see a bullfight at the Vents Bullring. You can also visit Madrid Cathedral or taste mouth-watering cuisine.

9. Frankfurt, Germany
Frankfurt is home to some of the best attractions in Germany. You can see the birthplace of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, or you can visit the St. Bartholomeus’ Cathedral. You can also enjoy the Frankfurt Zoo or the towering skyscrapers the city has to offer. Ryanair offers flight to Frankfurt.

10 Rome, Italy
This historical city possesses scrumptious cuisine, exquisite architecture and famous museums. You can take a tour of the Vatican, or you can see a gladiator at the world-famous coliseum.
