I'm an adventure traveler in search of new experiences, wild and rugged areas and major culture shocks. In the last 5 years I have gone from the icebergs of Antarctica to the sand dunes of the Sahara to the crazy streets of Asia.

My name is Ashlee Tuck and Im from Baltimore, MD but live and work in Washington, DC. Will Drink For Travel combines my love of traveling & seeing new places with my love of unique & native drinks.

This blog won’t discuss how “extreme” my adventures are, nor how “different” my destinations, but rather, will serve as a humble narrative for my personal story: what I’ve learned and what I haven’t, how I’ve grown through travel, and the responsibility I feel to inspire others, however indirectly, to explore their world as well. In a snapshot, we’re an adventure seeking couple from Cairns with a lust for life and a love of travel – our desire to discover places new and old will underpin our journey across this great country of ours. We dare you to come along for the ride as we share our experiences, learn something about ourselves that we didn’t already know, and traverse many a dirt and dusty track to tick off our bucket list of destinations.

I’m Jane and currently a corporate worker bee – some people are on the “Freedom 55” plan but I’m on “Freedom 95”, trying to enjoy life to the fullest. I’m proud about working, because it pays my bills and funds all my travels. For the last 20 years, I’ve visited 46 countries by ships (ocean cruises, river cruises, yachting), planes, trains, & automobiles. Back when I first started travelling, there was no social media, cellphones were like bricks, and disposable cameras were the “it”, and there were no selfies or groupies . We saw the world OLD SCHOOL. Can you relate?
