My name is Ahmed Ijaz. This is my blog and I enjoying writing, traveling with friends, having fun and inspiring others! I traveled often during my childhood between Male’ and Colombo on school and college breaks. I was never a big time traveler though, in fact I didn’t take my first long-haul flight until I was 24. World Travel Market 2006 in London, I had no travel experience. After college and upon return to Male’, I got a job and the standard thirty days an year. I wanted to use that time to travel. After all, it was vacation time, right? I still had a problem, I was earning very little to fly anywhere beyond Sri Lanka, so I started my journey visiting places close with the hope of extending it further over time. |
