The Redding Museum of Art & History is located at 56 Quartz Hill Road in Caldwell Park. This museum features changing exhibits of local and northern California art, with a concentration on ethnic artwork. Many of the works of art feature life and history in Shasta County. The Carter House Natural Science Museum is located at 48 Quartz Hill Road in Caldwell Park. This museum presents the natural history of northern California. The display features information about native animals. They are open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 to 5pm. Admission is $2 and those between the ages of 2 through 16 are $1.
