The Basics Of Getting Good Sleep: Important Factors That Influence The Quality Of Your Sleep

October 8, 2021 by Kerri BurgessLeave a Comment

Have you ever wondered what factors can influence the quality of your sleep? Whether you struggle with sleep issues and have to use an airfit p10 for her on a regular basis or whether you’re simply curious to learn more about the basics of quality sleep, understanding sleep influences can help you adjust your schedule and experience better rest. If you’ve never given much conscious thought to the different components of a good sleep routine but you’re interested in taking a closer look at your sleep, keep reading to master the basics.

The Different Phases of Sleep
Before you can fully understand the factors that determine your sleep quality and the reasons why your doctor may have recommended that you use an f20 CPAP mask, it’s important to understand the different phases of sleep. Every night, your body experiences four different phases of sleep, namely:
– Wakefulness
– Light sleep
– Deep sleep
-REM, or Rapid Eye Movement, sleep

Quality Vs. Quantity Of My Sleep
When it comes to feeling truly rested, both the overall quality and the overall quantity of your sleep can make a difference. Whether or not you use a CPAP face mask to stay asleep and get enough rest at night, there are a few factors that add up to ideal sleep. In order to feel your best, you need:
– Deep sleep and REM cycles every night
– A minimum of seven to eight hours of sleep a night
– A relatively consistent sleep schedule
– Minimal cat naps throughout the week
– As little excessive sleeping in on weekends as possible

If you’re concerned that you haven’t been meeting your basic sleep needs, you can start making some key changes right away. Try to find the right balance between getting adequate deep sleep and squeezing in enough hours of sleep to really feel well-rested. To get better-quality sleep starting tonight, you can:
– Turn down the light in your bedroom before going to sleep
– Avoid exposure to blue light from screens in the hour or two prior to bedtime
– Keep your sleeping environment at a cool, pleasant temperature throughout the night to avoid overheating
– Find a bedtime regimen that helps you feel relaxed and ready for bed
– Try to go to sleep around the same time every night to avoid throwing your circadian rhythm off

Numerous factors can influence the quality of your sleep every night, which in turn can influence your energy levels, your productivity levels, your mood and even your overall health and well-being. Whether you’ve dealt with sleep issues in the past and want to perfect your routine or whether this is your first time consciously examining your sleep schedule, understanding the basics of what it takes to get a good night’s rest can help you get on the right track for great sleep. If you’re tired of sleepless nights and want to wake up feeling rested and ready to go, keep these fundamental facts in mind.
