Born and raised in England, Carolan has travelled extensively throughout Europe, North America and the UK since 1985 as a freelance international food, wine and travel writer and radio personality. She has gained profound insight into the cultural and aesthetic value of fine foods that together with a fascination for historical data make her journeys and writings most interesting. One of her great loves is the beauty of nature, lakes and rivers, forests and farmlands. Her studies and writings include Egyptology; Italian wine estates and medieval palaces restored into fabulous hotels, and the culture, history, food and wines of these areas. She is an established journalist and her articles on food, wine and travel have been published in magazines, newspapers and cultural websites for the past 25 years. She also writes horoscopes that are syndicated world wide as well as Numerology Readings.
