About Sarah Fazendin

http://www.aweekatthebeach.com

I’ve spent my entire career leading international tourism organizations; including managing the North American arm of the Kenya Tourist Board, running the hotel-representation firm Travel Marketing Worldwide and co-founding boutique hotel booking engine Globa.li.
As a travel industry insider, I know just where to look, who to contact and how to uncover the best travel information out there. But while planning my family’s annual beach getaway year after year, I was continuously frustrated by how difficult it was to organize what seems like a very simple trip.

I founded independent travel blog A Week at the Beach to dig into destinations across Mexico and the Caribbean, pull the latest travel information direct from local experts, offer inspirational and fun travel advice with my readers and of course share my own crazy travel experiences as well. I love the island lifestyle and am always up for talking travel to the beach. Thanks for reading and I look forward to connecting!

Having said that, the weather there is great, the beaches are stunning and it’s super easy to get to. With a little extra planning and venturing beyond the main Hotel Zone, a perfect week at the beach in Mexico is absolutely possible! It’s not far by … [Read more...]
