I appreciate that you have one of the few travel forums which has neither banned my posts nor disappeared.
This year I went to Madagascar and Iceland, two new places for me. Lots of editing to do now for the videos and stills.
Getting sick, as in Madagascar, is not what I wish to repeat. Chinese air pollution, not limited to that country, also made me sick, for the second time. And this was on a normal tourist route. I know nothing about Shenyang.
My current inclination is to find places I have missed where the water is drinkable and the air decent enough to breathe.
These function as severe limitations upon future travel, but I feel they are necessary.
