REI Flagship Store Seattle – An attraction in and of itself, this store outranks all other REI stores in terms of size, on site attractions, and an unbelievable supply of outdoor equipment. This is REI’s flagship store and it really shows. The building is beautiful – there is a 65 foot climbing wall, mountain bike test trail, and other gear testing stations.
Also visit the “garage” downstairs which contains returned items at discounted prices. They have their own parking garage and their visitor’s center is an excellent place to stop for general tourist information. Extremely helpful staff.
