National Aquarium Baltimore Maryland – The next time you are in Baltimore, MD be sure to take about a few hours and visit the National Aquarium. It is located in the inner harbor area of Baltimore. Besides their overall marine exhibits, they also have a special showing of Seahorses (one of the best we’ve seen). This is one of the largest and most popular aquariums in the country. The aquarium contains over 16,500 marine animals from around the world.
Other notable exhibits include their Tropical Rain Forest, an Atlantic Coral Reef, an open ocean shark tank, and an exhibit showing the diversity of Australian wildlife.
Another highlight is their Immersion Theatre. Put on special 4D glasses to better experience the sights, sounds and smells as you watch nature videos. You can save time by purchasing tickets online rather than at the door.
