Sea Links City, Mui Ne Vietnam – September 2024

This massive resort encompasses some 167 hectares and is located in Mui Ne, a fishing community located along the shores of the South China Sea – abut a 4-5 hour ride from Ho Chi Minh City. Created by Vietnam based entrepreneur Mr. Nguyen Van Dong (Chairman of the multi-faceted Rang Dong Group), Sea Links City is a lifestyle community featuring several resorts and restaurants. Centered around a challenging 18-hole golf course the resort attracts both locals and international visitors.

The property features more then 300 private villas, the 5-star Sea Links Resort & Hotel with its large and long pool and several massive condominium complexes. A white sand beach is reserved for guests overlooking the South China Sea as is a private fishing club with small fishing pavilions perched on one side of a lagoon. From the decks of these pavilions guests can fish, eat and drink in the shade. Any fish caught will be cleaned and cooked by the nearby restaurant.

However, arguably the most unique attraction at Sea Links City (and open to the public) is the RD Wine Castle – a 3 story ‘castle’ modeled after 13th century European castles but dates from 2013 when it opened. Showcases premium wines from the Napa Valley – grown, produced and bottled in the Napa Valley, the wines are then shipped to Ho Chi Minh City before they are transported to the wine castle for storage. Tours include a visit through their cellar followed by a tasting in the elegant and slightly opulent tasting room. Despite all the wine barrels, wine bottles and some stainless steel tanks, no wine is actually made here. For more information, visit: www.sealinkscity.com
