I luv 2 globe trot is the brainchild of Renee Evans and Nicole Brewer. The two met as English as Second Language teachers in South Korea in 2010. As expats living in Korea they have taken numerous vacations together and quickly learned that they shared a common passion: Travel. They both came to the conclusion that this passion needed to be fulfilled and shared with others. Thus, I luv 2 globe trot came to fruition in 2012.

Part of this blogs purpose will be to keep a diary of sorts about my travels. I am also asked a lot about budget so I will be posting about that as well. Booking travel is another issue. I found out when I started that planning trips is a lot more complicated than it appears. I am here to help you learn how to do that as well.

my onward journey through this sea of life…

My name is Tobias Weber, and I’m a young, open-minded man that decided in 2010 to work and travel in Australia for 12 months. So that was the initial plan, but plans, are there to be changed – so I did. After 6 amazing months, having hitchhiked and worked in Australia, I changed my route and travelled through the stunning landscape of New Zealand and I was lucky enough to have spent another 3 incredible months in several countries in Southeastasia i.e. Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vientman, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore.

You can call me Rox. I created this travel blog in March 2013 as a travel repository. Previously, I stated I wasn’t born to be a traveler but wanted to be one and now I am already doing it. From owning a small digital camera to a DSLR camera, my wanderlust is growing to go to different destinations and discover places when I still have the energy to do so.

I left the UK behind in 2014 to give myself the freedom to live abroad & see the world. Since then I have lived in Madrid & have now set up camp in the Netherlands where I currently work as a web editor. This blog features travel tips, tales of expat life and everything in between.

I wear killer heels for a corporate day job on weekdays, and put on an adventurer’s cap on weekends. I work (as diligently and as efficiently as possible) to fund my endless whims and explorations. I project girlyness and sophistication in the urban playground, but toughen it up when I go out to see the world.
