I'm Val Pal! I'm about creating a life I LOVE. We all have a calling. I believe mine is to connect with others through uplifting messages, through stories of travel, dance, creative videos and food. These are some things that make me feel undeniably, completely ALIVE. I hope they will inspire you too.

I believe that life is way too short to be doing boring shit. Hahah! I live for adventures and laughs. Some have called me an adrenaline junkie, flower child, wanderer, a wild one, and while they may be 100% accurate, I would say that I am simply addicted to life.

A girl, her bike, a wee bit o wanderlust...a lust for life in general. And all things pretty. We cant forget the pretty.

I am a Carebear with skills akin to Cupid – which explains for the 2 big hearts on my tummy. But to be honest, have been bit lazy with these skills since living in Singapore from 2003 with my owner Y. Now i indulge in lots of travelling and eating, which are my 2 favourite passions. All I can say is I am so glad I met Y and her husband R, I couldn’t wish for a better life

I am a New Zealander who quit his job, packed his backs and brought a one way ticket into the unknown.

We are the Lucky Bugs. Come and share our past, present and future travel adventures as we check off all of the places that we are fortunate enough to visit from our bucket lists. We hope to entertain, inspire and maybe even educate you a little on this big, beautiful planet we call home.

The more I see, the more I find I haven’t seen. I take one destination off the bucket list and add two. Its a great, big, WONDERFUL world out there, and I want do see it all, do everything.

When we decided to embark on our trip around the world, we knew we wanted a way to memorialize the whole experience and share it with friends, family, fellow travelers, and anyone out there who might be interested. It is a once in a lifetime experience and we’re doing our best to savor, enjoy and (when we can) capture every moment.

The other love of mine is travelling of course. Whats my favourite city? A toss up between Hong Kong and Nashville. Theyre both great in their completely different ways. Home right now is Beijing but real home is Bristol, England. Although Ive had a couple of other homes in the middle. To me I seem to have many homes. London was a home during university, Hong Kong was a home during studying abroad and Xian was a great home to me for a year and a half.

We are a couple of gals who have been friends for years. Although we live in different states we love to travel together and share our adventure and our struggles with each other.
