Back in May 2006, I left my beloved hometown Thessaloniki, my family, and my friends, to pursue my dream to see the world.

I was introduced to travel in the year 2009 when I went on a casual trip with my friends to North India. Was it the colors of Rajasthan or the magnificence of the Taj Mahal or the adventure of rafting at Rishikesh or the awe of the mighty Himalayas or the sheer love of changing scenery as I moved across? I don’t know which one of it, but then on my love for travel or rather my love to explore new places, taste different cuisine and understand a different culture has only increased by tenfold.

Ive been an avid traveler my whole life, seeing travel more as a lifestyle than something to do once or twice a year. Im a freelance photographer, writer, educator and adventurer. Having grown up in the US, most of my initial travels were roadtrips to explore the country. I was able to see all 50 States and had done a fair amount of international travel by that point. I moved overseas years ago and have since reached my arbitrary goal of traveling to 100 different countries.
