We are a United States couple who have been fortunate enough to travel to some extraordinary places in the time we have spent together. After spending a summer in Australia and Fiji for mission work in 2011 and honeymooning in Jamaica in 2014, we realized that we wanted to have a lifetime filled with experiences and visiting places we had never been.

At two years old, I experienced my first journey to Thailand with my mother. By the age of six, I knew I wanted to honeymoon in Greece. Finally at eighteen, I bought a plane ticket to Africa to travel for six weeks. I’ve wanted to travel my whole life. Travel is not only a dream, but a passion, and little did I know it would become my greatest life journey

If you want the short story, Im Emma, I am completely in love with the city of Sydney, I want to see the world and I cant stand the thought of being in the same place all my life.

Ive always been fascinated by other cultures, places, traditions, languages and people. I love piecing a new place together, appreciating what makes it special and seeing how different people live their lives. I also dont have the slightest clue of where I want to be or what I want to be doing, so am using this time to figure that out through continually traveling and living abroad.

On this site I collect stories, written by myself and others, about travel and expat life.

At its heart this is a travel site, though for us that doesn’t only mean trekking to places far and mysterious like some modern day Indiana Joneses or channeling our inner Neverlander at the Happiest Place(s) on Earth. It’s about finding our inner-Indiana Jones and Lost Boys, no matter where we are, whether it means sitting at a cubicle in uncomfortable shoes (though luckily at the moment it does not) or hiking up the ruins of Machu Picchu (which hopefully soon it will).
