we’re mr. and ms. our next life (or mr. and ms. onl), a married couple in our mid-thirties, living in the western u.s.a. we’re in love with nature and the outdoors, and love slow travel. tempting as it is to quit our jobs now and find adventure, we’re focusing on saving now so we can potentially travel forever

Jade Johnston (BA Sociology, Statistics, University of Manitoba) is a freelance writer who prefers to travel slow, and to live and work in countries as apposed to whistle stop tours.

My husband and I enjoy traveling, riding motorcycles and going to festivals and events with our friends.

We’re both Australians who have a big appetite for travel. Bitten by the travel bug in our 20s, you’d think we might well ‘be done’ with travelling into our mid-thirties. But it seems the more places we visit, the more we want to explore the world further. In 2018, we took the decision to take some time out of full time employment and fill up on our passion for a longer period than ever before. We’ve an exciting adventure ahead of us, and we’re looking forward to sharing with anyone who shares an interest in visiting new destinations.

Thank you for joining us on Our Suitcase Adventures! We are three women who love traveling and seeing new places. We enjoy the journey, and the experiences. We also happen to be family – I’m Penny, and together with my sister Starlet and her daughter Sunny, we are very excited to bring you the stories of the places we’ve traveled, the people we’ve met, and the journeys to get there.
