I’m an English Canadian girl who just can’t stop exploring this world of ours… I started solosophie in July 2015 to share all of the adventures my wandering feet have taken me on.

Solo Traveler is a blog for all of us who love (or struggle) to travel on our own. We’re a group of bloggers located around the world that range in age from 23 to 68. Our style of travel varies from luxury to backpacking. We’re here to share our experiences — to offer solo travel tips, advice, stories, inspiration, destinations, ponderings and reflections — and to hear and learn from you. We hope you enjoy!

I am a retired nurse. I love to see the world and share my experiences including the food and art of a particular region or at home. I have traveled to over 60 countries and I am always looking for a bargain and if I find one I will bring it to you. I hope that I will help others to enjoy their lives through my experiences whether alone or with a partner.
