Thank you for visiting spendlifetraveling.com. I started this website to be able to share some of my experiences traveling the world and living as an expat. I first moved abroad in 2002, when I spent a summer working in Spain. That experience changed me. It showed me there is a big world out there to explore and that life isn’t necessarily ‘just the way it is’.

One of my very most favorite ways to spend my days is exploring the world. I don’t care if the destination is 20 miles away or 20,000- if its somewhere I’ve never been, I want to go. I love the indispensable feeling of ‘lostness’ that somehow manages to liberate rather than bind. Shaken from the cover of routine and familiarity, you’re forced to see/ taste/ smell/ experience.
