My name is Jimmy Gottfredson. James H. Gottfredson actually, and I love to travel. Like so many people with this affliction it started at a young age. I was fascinated with airports and planes and the world at large. I was going to explore the world, or at least thought I would. College, marriage, a profession, children – life will get you side tracked. I took the path of the professional, learned a business, and was determined to provide a better existence for my family.

After a year and a half long stint teaching English in South Korea and hopping around SE Asia I returned to my home in Minneapolis hoping to settle down and find a job in the often dreary industry of professional journalism. I told myself that despite my longing for continued global travel, there was no conceivable way I could stay out on the road whilst providing a livable means for myself and thus no reason to try.

I´m a world traveler, photography enthusiast and blogger. I´ve been following my dream of explore the world since years.If you are looking for advice, ideas or recommendations where to go and how to travel best while meeting you needs, this is the right place.

We are Bradley and Cazzy, the travel fanatics behind Dream Big, Travel Far. We started this blog in 2016 back when we were still in University one winter's evening. With a drink in hand, we had a dream.

I do not encourage you to blindly leave everything behind and travel the world forever, I encourage you to listen to your heart, discover which are your dreams, and follow them. There are a lot of different ways to travel and they are all equally valid. Long term, on holidays, on a weekend get away. Fast, slow. Urban, nature, cultural, adventure. And more.
