Five Atlantic City Hotspots You Must Visit in 2024

April 18, 2024 by Ewan AtlanticLeave a Comment

Atlantic City has often been synonymous with glitz and glamor, touted as the ‘Las Vegas’ of the East Coast. With casinos, nightlife hotspots, fancy restaurants, theme parks, and other fun establishments, there is something in Atlantic City for everyone.

If you are planning a trip to the area for the first time, you may not be sure about the best places to visit. We have compiled a list of the top five Atlantic City hotspots to liven up your vacation.

1. Atlantic City Beach
When you visit Atlantic City, one of your first trips should be to the beach. The vast beaches have ample space to set up a little tent or simply walk around to soak in the atmosphere.

If you are more adventurous when it comes to water sports, Atlantic City is the ideal place to visit. The beaches in the area are perfect for body boarding, wave jumping, and even some boogie boarding.

After a few hours of having fun at the beach or in the water, you can walk to the nearby boardwalk to explore the local shops and restaurants.

2. World-Class Casinos
There is no Atlantic City without casinos, given the city’s income is so heavily reliant on taxation of this industry. People keep coming back to Atlantic City because gambling at BetMGM in New Jersey is such a thrilling experience. While these casinos may not be as world-famous as those in Las Vegas, they are every bit as glamorous, full of life, and thrilling to experience in person.

Games like poker, blackjack, and roulette are on offer nearly 24 hours a day. So, you can pull up to a table, put up the money to enter a game, and start playing.

3. Cape May
If you visit Atlantic City during the peak tourist season in the summer, you may find the public beaches a little too crowded for a peaceful vacation. Individuals, couples, or families seeking a more serene and low-key experience can take a short drive to Cape May.

4. Steel Pier
The oldest amusement park in Atlantic City, Steel Pier, is still going strong today. A 1,000-foot-long site built right on the pier, this theme park is one of the most magical experiences for kids and adults alike. There are so many fun activities to explore that you can spend an entire day there and still have rides left to try.

5. Atlantic City Aquarium
The Atlantic City Aquarium near Absecon Inlet is an impressive spot to take your kids on a family trip. You can see sharks, stingrays, and other unique sea creatures. Between terrapins, iguanas, and piranhas, you can get a proper glimpse of what it must be like to explore the ocean.

Experience the Best of Atlantic City
There are many incredible places to see and food to eat when visiting Atlantic City. Even though the city’s reputation is tied to its casinos and nightlife, there is so much more to Atlantic City. From incredible aquariums and a world-class amusement park to serene beaches, this city boasts entertainment options that cater to everyone’s tastes and moods. Sounds like it’s time to have the time of your life on vacation in this beautiful part of New Jersey.
