UAE is now offering 5-years multi-entry tourist visas

UAE is among the leading tourist destination in the Middle East and the country allow all people to tour the country without restrictions. If you have been attracted to visit UAE , there is good news for you. You can apply for the new five year UAE tourist visa and within those five years can make multiple entries using it.

After the announcement of these moves by the government, many people, especially travelers, are trying to understand what these UAE five year multiple entry tourist visas mean and how to apply. Here we have taken the initiative to shed light on what it means and how you can apply for the UAE five year multiple entry tourist visas.

You need first to know that this announcement by the government is meant to promote tourists in UAE, and the visa is meant to be applied by tourists who would like to visit UAE multiple times. If you plan to make one trip to UAE and don’t foresee making another within five years, you will not need to apply for this five-year tourist visa.

About the multiple entry five-year UAE tourist visa
If it is your first time to hear about the UAE five-year multiple-entry tourist visas, chances are you wonder what it means and who qualifies for this visa. We have all those details in this section and more for you.

The UAE government decided to introduce the UAE’s five-year multiple-entry tourist visas after the Cabinet approved the suggestion. The announcement of this new UAE visa policy came after the cabinet meeting, chaired by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President, Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai meeting.

As per the announcement, passport holders from any country can apply for a five-year UAE tourist visa. Upon successful application and issuance of the visa, the tourist can visit UAE as many times as he / she wishes, making entries and exits without applying for a new visa for five years.

It is important to note the period of stay when you enter UAE despite having the UAE five-year multiple-entry tourist visas is 90 days. Still, you can request & do a UAE tourist visa extension for another 90 days without exiting UAE

The announcement of the five-year multi-entry UAE tourist visa was made on March 21, 2021. The implementation of the announcement is the responsibility of the Federal Authorities for Identity and Citizenship. The terms and conditions for approval for this tourist visa are the same as those that apply when requesting the other UAE tourist visa.

How you can apply for the UAE five-year multiple-entry tourist visa
It is easy to apply for the UAE five-year multiple-entry tourist visas. The UAE Federal Authority has availed the procedure to apply for Identity and Citizenship (ICA). As earlier mentioned, passport holders of any nationality qualify to apply for this UAE tourist visa by ending on the authority’s website.

On August 4, 2021, the UAE Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA) shared the steps an applicant should follow to apply for this five-year tourist visa successfully. The following are the steps shared;

• Visit the ICA website.
• After login, click on the main module and choose the ‘E-channel Services’ option.
• Click on ‘Public services.’
• From the options, click on the ‘Visa – multi-trip / tourist long-term (5 years) for all nationalities / visa issuance.’
• Fill in the application form
• Attach all required documents
• Counter to check to ensure all the details you have entered are correct and attached all the documents
• Make the payment for the fees.

Note: It is also important to check the PCR test and vaccination requirements before booking a ticket after receiving a visa to travel to the UAE.

Support documents required when applying for UAE five-year multiple-entry tourist visa

During the process of applying for the five years UAE visa, you will be required to attach the following documents;

• colored photo
• passport copy
• medical insurance
• Bank statement the last six months detailing your financial details and with balance 4000 dollars or its equivalent in foreign currencies in the last six months.

During application for the UAE five-year multiple-entry tourist visas, you will be required to pay a 650 AED approximately 180 USD

The Benefits of the 5-Year UAE Tourist Visa

UAE government made the UAE five-year multiple-entry tourist visas fee announcement to show they are determined to make UAE the best tourist destination in the world. Moreover, travel experts says, the new visa will help UAE residents or working in UAE to bring often their families to the country. Previously, they had to apply for visas whenever they wished to visit the country.

What are the visas & options available before a Five-year visa?
Before the UAE five-year multiple-entry tourist visas, tourists to UAE and visit visa & extension facilities that allow the tourist get 30 days visa and 90 days extension after a request for extension approved.

Is a UAE-based sponsor required for the visa?
According to the details provided when the visa was announced, the visa does not require a UAE-based individual or organization to sponsor the visa. Tourists can apply for the visa on self-sponsorship.

What is the maximum duration of stay on the visa?
According to the UAE Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA), the five-year multiple-entry tourist visas allow tourists to say for 90 days on each visit but request another 90 days. After your tourist visa extension is approved, you do have 180 days.
