Visiting Frankfurt

May 9, 2013 by DaveLeave a Comment

I'm not sure how it is that on recent flights every time I have been parked right next to a screaming baby. This latest one did not actually cry, but rather screamed a good portion of the 11 hour flight. No matter how hard the parents tried, this little fellow would not let up. Upon reaching Frankfurt - I had 8 hours to kill before heading on to Verona Italy. I took full advantage of this window of opportunity by jumping on the S8 train to … [Read more...]

Flash and Burn

May 5, 2013 by Michael BartolomeiLeave a Comment

The flat I am renting is in the art district of Prague, three metro stops from the city center. The Vltava River is a two-minute … [Read more...]

March 19, 2013 by Phyllis SteinbergLeave a Comment

There is so much to see and do in Charleston that it’s hard to squeeze so much fun into a four day weekend, but this baby-boomer decided to try! The four of us girls flew to Charleston on an early Thursday morning flight and took the last departure out on Sunday evening packing in as many delightful activities as possible while still leaving down time to enjoy each other’s company and share stories of previous travels. These pants were the brainchild of founder Stefan Loble who wanted a solution to the constant ironing and washing of his work clothes. These sharp looking *wrinkle free* pants are ideal for the urban stylist - looking … [Read more...]

Chicago is full of diversity, from the people that live there, to the people it attracts. There’s so much to see and do in the Windy City - famous architecture, historic landmarks, and of course, plenty of pizzerias to stuff your guts.
